Commission Boards and Committees
Thirty-four (34) appointed boards, committees, and
authorities serve important roles in the City. Most
function in an
advisory capacity
to the City Commission, but some administer City
functions, such as the boards who oversee the City
Pension Plans and the Code Enforcement Boards. The Summary of Boards and Committees contains a summary of these
boards and the responsibilities of each.
Most boards meet once a month, with board members
serving terms of one year, but there are exceptions.
