How to Do an Items Public Search


The Items Public Search allows you to search for a particular agenda item. If you are searching for a particular agenda item, select the Items Public Search link.

You can search by one or more of the Search Values as shown below. The Board and the Originating Department values must be selected from the drop-down list by clicking the down arrow to the right of either field.

Complete as many Search Value Fields as you like to narrow the search results. Once you have entered the search value(s), click the Start Search button or the Blue Checkmark Blue Checkmark in the upper left corner of the screen. (The Reset button Reset Button will reset the fields.) You will be presented with the search results.

The Yellow Folder Yellow Folder contains the Items documents. Click on the Yellow Folder icon Yellow Folder to open the folder.

To view, print, e-mail or save an item, click on the Retrieve Document icon (in this case, the PDF icon PDF Icon). If you do not have Adobe Reader installed on your PC, you may download it for free from http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2.html.

You may Save, Print, or E-mail the item using the icons on the tool bar Save, Print, E-mail Buttons. Click your browser's Back Arrow button to go back to the folder list.

NOTE: The public version of the NetFYI document management system used here is not fully functional; functions that are only for internal city use have been disabled and will not work. For example, it is not possible to get to most of the other tabs, such as Main Menu or Work List. Please ignore any disabled areas or functions; they are not needed to search for and access the agenda documents.
